Sidney Vance Stephens recorded this album for his own child in his private recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The original intention was to counteract the unsettling singing purple dinosaur television show that was popular at the time with a touch of realism and maybe even darkness. Nowhere on this album will a giant creepy purple lizard tell your child they love them.
